I love making music. There is something freeing about it that makes me feel whole. I used to work 4 day jobs at a time to save up for my music equipment and when I got the gear i wished i never had to go back to work. If I could just make music all day long I would feel complete.
Wouldn’t you feel amazing if you could work on music all day long? It makes us think “Can anyone be a rapper? Can I really make it?”
Well, rappers WAY WORSE than you have made it… so why can’t you? Right?
But I used to think I’d never be able to make enough money to make a living as a rapper and I’d be stuck working shitty day jobs my whole life with music only being a hobby.
I’ve worked at gas stations, pizza hut, red lobster, laying concrete, building cooling towers, pushing brooms in a factory for $6 hour… the list goes on and on… over 30 day jobs I either quit or got fired from because I hate listening to people. I always knew I was meant to be my own boss

That’s when I knew I could take it from hobby to a real career.
Most people think you need to be a super mega star known by everyone…. that’s great and I’d love that but even making a living off of your art and passion for music is freaking amazing.
Making music and doing shows for people that love your music and listen to you everyday… I’d take that over going to a shitty day job even if I made half the money I would from a day job… wouldn’t you?
