When I first heard saw that an artist named “Tha Chase” (@thachase247) was in my email I instantly thought “With a name like that, this song has to be fire and fire it was! First off all the beat, which was produced by Portland native Timothy Infinite (@timothyinfinite), was super slappin’! Tha Chase then hit us with some dope bars with a dope laid back flow that really complemented the beat. Out of nowhere the beat broke down into these really clean guitars and Tha Chase went with it by switching from a laid back flow to a really dope melodic cadence that just captured me! Super Dope!
The Charlotte [North Carolina] native has been writing raps since he was 14 years old but didn’t really start recording until he was 18. By this time, he had experienced a lot of trials and tribulations like his parents splitting up and losing one of his best friends to gun violence. These events sparked a fire in him that made resulted in him taking his music to the next level. Now he has 11 singles, an Ep titled “See It In My Sleep” and his most recent project “If I was born anything”. This talented guy is going to do some big things don’t say we didn’t tell you!
